A Mohlajee Wedding

My wonderful best friend Ashley wrote a blog post on the Ancient Ritual in the Modern World: The anthropology of a Punjabi Wedding featuring my wedding. Ashley is a much better writer than me, and brings an anthropologist/archeologists perspective on a Punjabi wedding so I'm not even going to try and describe the events. She even included some photos, but I thought I would share a special family photo.

Chachiji's Anniversary

Dear Chachiji first anniversary was celebrated yesterday. We bow to the mother, aunt(Chachi ji to many nieces and nephews and her own children, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived so simply and yet with so much poise and dignity. She aged gracefully as well. All the friends and visitors used to ask us the secret of her health, serene nature and long life. Our answer to that question can be her simple living, light eating (vegetarian food)and possibly detachment from worldly luxuries as well as from relationships.

Another Story on Late K N Mohlajee

Kindly read another interesting story on Late Shri K N Mohlajee http://cities.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=64596 that throws light on his nature and writing style as a great sports Journalist who had an excellent command on English language ably demonstrated in his smooth translation of visuals into words, an uncanny ability, seldom seen in today’s Sports Journalism that thrives more on inclusions of sensational than stimulation- which was hallmark of Mr K N Mohlajee’s narration of facts and events unfolded for an average or classy reader alike.

It was a worthy contribution from him as both Late Shri Baldev.Narain.Mohlajee(Raja) and Late Shri Krishan Narain Mohlajee had made Mohlajee name famous in Indian and International arena by the untiring contributions in the field of Music and Sports through Quality Journalism.
We are proud of our ancestors and wish all of us seek inspiration from them and carry the torch of Mohlajee clan to greater heights.
Through this posting I make a fervent appeal to all closely associated with these two pioneers to come forward and write some more interesting facts about these personalities.
